Carol Tharp-Perrin came to Yoga through the arts. Her knowledge of the mind-body-spirit relationship has evolved through her work in interdisciplinary arts, painting, gymnastics, and figure skating, as an equestrian and as a dancer. Dance ultimately led to Yoga, which has become integral to her life's work.

As an artist with Young Audiences and Very Special Arts, Carol's work with arts-in-education spans more than 25 years. She has been a visiting and consulting artist to universities, schools, communities, hospitals and other institutions, including city, state and national governments throughout North and South America. In addition to English, she is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Carol holds a Master's degree in curriculum. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and a certified teacher in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga.
